Canon Ian Holdsworth

Ian Holdsworth is a canon of Peterborough Cathedral, but at the moment, we keep him busy looking after us. He takes most of our services, especially communion services, runs Alpha and Confirmation classes, and conducts weddings, funerals and christenings at our church.

Canon Ian has a lot of life experience, so you can come and talk to him about anything and he will be able to give you spiritual direction. As well as looking after us while we are waiting for a new priest to come, Canon Ian is an accomplished iconographer, who teaches iconography in Bridlington. He is founder of the Yorkshire Icon School.
