Could you be our safeguarding lead? Everyone in a position of responsibility at the church is DBS checked and safeguarding trained, but we are looking for one special person to be the first port of call if ever there was a safeguarding problem. You should be friendly and approachable. You can’t already be in a leadership position at church and you need to have time to do safeguarding training.

Until we have a dedicated safeguarder, Tricia, our church secretary, is our acting safeguarding officer. She is very good at listening and is the best person to talk to if you think there might be a problem.
